SKC Coated (Treated) Filters

Sommige chemicaliën worden niet effectief opgevangen door vaste sorptiematerialen zonder speciale voorbereiding. Chemische coating wordt aangebracht op verschillende sorptiematerialen om aldehyden, stikstofdioxide, aminen en vele andere verbindingen te kunnen opvangen. Gecoate filters maken het bemonsteren van reactieve verbindingen snel en eenvoudig. Ze vormen een handig alternatief voor natte chemische methoden met impingers.

Verwijder simpelweg de dop van de lichte cassette, plaats deze in een SKC Filter Cassette Houder, bevestig de houder aan de kraag van een werknemer en sluit deze aan op een persoonlijke bemonsteringspomp. Gebruik gecoate filters om verbindingen te verzamelen die voorkomen als een aerosol of mist, of voor enkele hoger kokende dampen. Debieten zijn doorgaans hoger dan 1 L/min en de bemonsteringstijd varieert van 15 minuten tot één uur. De meeste monsters op gecoate filters worden geëxtraheerd in oplosmiddelen en geanalyseerd via gas- of vloeistofchromatografie.
